Growing up in Salt Lake City, I was surrounded by the wonderful sculptures of my mother’s sister, Elaine Brockbank Evans of Berkley, California; My Admiration for her work was an influence to study art.

I studied sculpture under Dr. Avard Fairbanks at the Uof Utah and Bruno Innocente, at the Institute Belle Arts, Florence Italy. When I returned to the US I worked for my father’s construction firm, then, my own company for thirty years and retired in 1989 to work with my son, Karl Jensen, a gifted sculptor. I am a fisherman, pilot, sailor, rockhound, and rainbow chaser with my wife Diane.
